The vines for this wine come from two distinct terroirs: a sand and gravel terroir at Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens and a clay-limestone terroir further north. Complexity, power, elegance and intensity define this wine.

"Inky dark purple core and hue. Fragrant nose offering with wild berries, cassis, fine oak, toast and tobacco leaf. The palate shows a fine combination of density and freshness, youthful yet ripe tannin, layers of finely spicy dark fruit, well integrated oak and a long fleshy finish."
